Water your orchids early in the day so it can be dry by night.
Water once a week during the winter and twice a week when the weather is warmer and dry.
Typically, a 6-inch pot needs water every 7 days and a 4-inch pot need water every 5 to 6 days.
Avoid wetting the leaves.
Use a piece of tissue or a cotton to dry water if it is trapped between the leaves.
After watering, let the water run away and do not allow residual water to come in contact with the base of the orchid pot.
The temperature of the water is also important. Try to use water with the temperature ambient. Too cold water can damage your plant.
Yellow leaves means you are over watering your plant. So discontinue watering for a few weeks.
